Park City's Trusted Patio Builder

TWO DECADES BUILDING
IN PARK CITY.

Park City is a different jobsite than the Salt Lake Valley. Higher elevation, deeper freeze cycles, more snow load, and homeowners who expect mountain-grade craftsmanship. We've spent 20 years matching that expectation.

Most Park City builds we do are natural stone over engineered base — travertine, basalt, or full flagstone. We work with the design intent of mountain-modern and traditional ski homes alike, integrating fire features, heated patios, and outdoor kitchens.

Where We Build

PARK CITY NEIGHBORHOODS WE SERVE.

Old Town

Historic district. Tight access, careful staging, often natural stone to match neighborhood character.

Park Meadows

Larger lots, full backyard transformations with kitchens and fire features.

Deer Valley

High-end luxury — premium materials, integrated lighting, often heated patio surfaces.

The Canyons / Canyons Village

Newer construction, modern paver and concrete designs.

Promontory

Ranch-scale lots, large-format flagstone and natural stone.

Silver Springs

Family backyards with strong material durability needs.

Jeremy Ranch

Mountain-foothill builds with integrated landscape and slope work.

Pinebrook

Drier exposure, often involves drainage and snow-management design.

Park City-Specific

WHAT MAKES BUILDING IN PARK CITY DIFFERENT.

  • 01
    7,000 ft freeze cycles
More than 100 freeze-thaw events per winter. Base prep needs to be over-engineered — 8" road base minimum on most Park City builds.
  • 02
    Snow load and snow-melt
Patios need to handle plow access, snow piles, and rapid spring runoff. We design for it.
  • 03
    HOA design review
Most PC neighborhoods have strict architectural committees. We handle the design submittal package.
  • 04
    Premium expectations
Park City clients expect mountain-grade materials and finish. We don't try to value-engineer those builds — we match the standard.

Park City Patio FAQ

PARK CITY PATIO QUESTIONS.

What patio materials are best for Park City elevation?

Natural stone (travertine, basalt) or premium concrete pavers. Both handle deep freeze cycles. We avoid poured stamped concrete for most PC builds — it can crack faster up here.

Do you do heated patio surfaces?

Yes — both electric snow-melt and hydronic systems. We coordinate with your HVAC contractor for tie-ins.

Can you work in winter in Park City?

Limited. Hardscape installs need above-freezing base temps for proper compaction. We typically schedule April through October.

How long is the design + build cycle in Park City?

Most builds take 2-4 weeks once we're on-site. Add 4-8 weeks before that for HOA design review, materials sourcing, and permits.

Do you handle the HOA submittal process?

Yes — we prepare full design packages including site plan, materials list, color samples, and elevations for committee review.

Are permits required for patios in Park City?

Patios under 30" attached to the home may require a permit. Anything involving structural retaining walls, gas lines, or electrical does. We pull permits as part of the project.
